Self-proclaimed beat painter Carpi/Nelli has a frenzied manner of painting that is apparent in his work. When painting, he often listens to music, which, along with his emotionally turbalent life, provides inspiration for his work.

Carpi/Nelli has shown across the country and his work resides in the collections of Lee Rocker, Pamela Anderson, Ben Shephard, David Lawrence, and Mickey Rourke.
